Stabilized ammonium nitrate (SAN)

Product description

Stabilized ammonium nitrate (SAN) is a granular nitrogen fertilizer, which contains 33% nitrogen (N) and 1% MgO. Half of it is the nitrogen in ammonium form, the remainder is nitrate. Nitrogen of the ammonium nitrate is immediately absorbed by the plants, while ammonium nitrogen digests only after nitration. Universally applicable, fast-acting, suitable for all crops and soils. Provides balanced plant nutrition, an excellent tool for basic, pre-sowing fertilization and feeding. Significant disadvantage of SAN is the washing of the nitrates away from the profile under the root layer or washing the run-offs in the early winter fertilization. The danger of losses by de-nitrification under conditions of spring excessive moisture in soil is real too. This fertilizer is essential for later feeding of autumn crops under conditions of elevated temperatures and parching soil surface.
